It's okay to sleep through lunch with a friend...

if you are only 3 months old. We had a nice weekend with the boys, including a trip to see Deb's parents, walks to the store and visits from friends.  Our good friend Maureen was sweet enough to travel all the way out to Red Hook to visit us AND bring us a wonderful lunch.  We've known the amazing Maureen from the days she used to bring her German Shepard, Archie, for daycare in our old Williamsburg location.  He was in a doggie wheelchair, but that didn't stop him from checking out every inch of the yard and chasing after any girl dogs he fancied...he was a real character.  Her current dog, sweet Tony, came for a visit as well.  Maureen called Aidan (sleeping in her arms) an "angel" and Jack a "prize fighter".

Later on, Jen & Jane came to visit with beautiful 9-mo. old Noah, the boys' first baby friend. Aidan was sleeping again (it was a sleepy day for him), but Jack was very intrigued and watched the "big kid" carefully. Noah was really good at being gentle with the babies.  He had a squished piece of bread that he was gnawing on, and when he generously held it out and offered some to Jack, you could just tell that Jack wanted to take a bite.
