On Thursday (1/15) the boys got their first vaccinations during their 2-month Wellness visit: Hib and Pnuemoccocus (not even close to the right spelling on that one). It was tragic watching their little faces crumple when Dr. Sergiou stabbed each chubby thigh -- all four of us were crying! We decided that when they're older, shots at the doctor will be followed by a piece of (normally forbidden) candy -- at least it will be something for them to look forward to.
The stats: Jack is now 22" long and 12 lbs, 6oz. The boy likes his food! And little Aidan is now a respectable 10 lbs, 12 oz and measures 21" long. They're growing like weeds -- adorable chubby weeds. We've passed along their sweet little newborn clothes -- all of them outgrown -- to some clients and friends that are expecting. Except for their going-home outfits -- those we save forever. I can't believe 9 weeks has gone by, and the tender, tentative, sleepy newborns have blossomed into smiling, kicking, cooing babies.
