We've had an exciting couple of days: Deb's dad stopped by and saw the babies. He can't wait until they can wrestle with him! (Nervous Mama says it "sounds dangerous". Relaxed Mama says "Relax, I'm still alive, aren't I? He wrestled with us all the time.") We took out the massive Valco stroller and had a yummy lunch at Kevin's, a new place around the corner. Sauteed greens, mac & cheese and toasted challah bread sandwiches...babies had a nap and tasty bottles.
Next day, our friend Belinda (aka. Max Doodle's mom) brought little cutie Rose by to visit. She's 3 weeks older than Jack & Aidan, and she's absolutely beautiful. Look at that smiley face! It's fun to find out what we have to look forward to, development-wise, a few weeks from now. We all went for a walk and Rose tried out the boys' Baby Bjorn carrier...she seemed to like looking out at the world. Our boys bundled up in their trusty stroller again...thanks, Grandma, for the Pooh Bear buntings, complete with ears on the hoods -- they've come in very handy. (Oh, and the buntings are now light blue instead of white. Mama thought only RED clothes ran when you washed them...turns out that can happen with any dark color. Like dark blue, for instance).
Jack should be wrestling weight any day now!
