We are officially moving to the Catskills

It's been a long time in the works, and we did not expect that "upstate" would be our new permanent home...but we're feeling optimistic.  The actual move is at the end of September.  Back to the land (ok, not really...but there are plenty of farms nearby, with everything from organic dairy to pick-your-own-apples & pumpkins to free-range humanely raised meat & poultry).  We're 30 minutes from the Delaware Water Gap, 20 minutes from the Neversink River, 20 minutes from Bethel and the performing arts center there.  And, of course, 20 minutes from the Homestead School.
Not surprisingly, the boys are thrilled.

We expect lots more outdoor times like these, at a lake close to our house, and in our own backyard...

  1. Your fellow upstaters - the Matarazzos - are thrilled! We'll definitely have to plan a visit this fall. It sounds wonderful. We miss you guys & can't believe how the happy and cute the boys are.
