Lake Superior State Park

Deb took the boys to a sweet little lake upstate, with a lifeguard for safe swimming, a playground and picnic tables under shady trees.  She's happy to report that it's clean, quiet and less than 20 minutes from the house (where the three of them have spent a couple days "camping" with a tent in the backyard). We had no idea this perfect, simple place even existed until just days ago.
The boys had fun wading over smooth pebbles and digging in the sand.  Can't wait to go back...
