Gave them their own real, non-plastic, bowls this morning, just to see how it would play out. Each boy chose his preferred flavor of oatmeal: "may-bo" (maple) for Aidan, and "ap-boo" (apple) for Jack, and the experiment in big-boy breakfasting went well, for the most part. Only when they began to negotiate a bowl-trade agreement did I have to intervene...
