The boys started Kindergarten, and are in separate classrooms this year -- a big step! The first day went well: neither boy broke down in tears missing each other, and no one felt the overwhelming need to visit Mama, either! (I'm working in the Art Room at school, 3 days a week). They are together on the playground before and after school, and at lunchtime recess, so there's plenty of time for the boys to interact. Also, they still share every other waking (and sleeping) minute of their entire lives, so there's that. A little time to grow & develop on their own is a good thing.
Tomorrow, another first: the school bus. They will ride a big yellow bus to and from school on the days I don't work. They are excited! Their parents are nervous.
