No, your eyes do not deceive you...






That is, in fact, a new puppy. A new Beagle puppy.

Yes, we know -- two dogs, two toddlers, a crazy 24/7 schedule for our business: it's already quite enough to handle.
And it's true: a new puppy is kinda like having a new baby (but really it's only *kinda* like it -- and we've already done the super-intense human version x2, so one new puppy actually feels pretty do-able).
Well, no doubt you're right: the boys probably are too young to bring a new puppy into the fold, and we will have to watch them all three of them like hawks to be sure no one is hurting, biting, scratching, or (in Jack's case) hugging-the-stuffing-out-of each other. And, of course, Beagles are great with kids, but they're also loud escape artists that are notoriously difficult to housetrain.

But, just look at these pics. How sweet is this? It's been over two weeks since we impulsively adopted her from our local upstate petting zoo/farm, and we're all in love with little Josephine :)
