We made an activity-based advent calendar for December, with a (hopefully) fun thing to do for each day leading up to Christmas. I drew a tree, the boys decorated heavy paper ornaments with paints & glitter, and I put some fun, simple notes like "choose our Chrstmas tree", "check out Christmas books from the library", "make pinecone ornaments", etc. on the back of each circle. And of course, "visit the tree at Rockefeller Center" is one of our most exciting activities! Should be fun, unless they're freaked out by all the crowds...we'll find out, won't we?
Today's activity was "make pipecleaner ornaments", and here they are showing us their candy cane ornaments...masterpieces of design!
