A new coat, some socks as mittens (why didn't I try that months ago? works great!) and soft, fluffy, friendly snowflakes. All contributed to a much more pleasant experience this morning: both boys enjoyed using their protected hands to scrape snow off of branches and bricks, and they loved looking up at the flakes falling down. It wasn't windy or even particularly cold, either, so I'm sure that helped boost the enjoyment factor. Here are some pics of happier snow bunnies...
We've been doing the socks as mittens thing. It works so well I don't think we'll be buying mittens for years! Love the matching jackets.
